UNIV 422- Develop Your Professional Edge

Did you know only 44% of employers think college students have what it takes to advance within their organization? Beat the statistic by signing up for University Career Services’ new course, UNIV 422, designed to help you develop a professional image so you can be successful after Mason in your first job and beyond! Your final project will be a valuable addition to your resume as you will serve as a student consultant to a client in a University Life office and work with a team to develop and present a solution to the client’s problem. Along the way you will also learn how to build an effective relationship with your new supervisor, prepare for a performance review, run a productive meeting, and successfully navigate office politics. The course syllabus is available here.

To register for Fall 2015, select UNIV 422-Develop Your Professional Edge.

This course will count as an elective and is not required for the AIT/INFT major.
