James H. Kahrl is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology.

With more than 30 years in the information processing industry, Dr. Kahrl’s experience includes applications and systems programming. He has also worked with all phases of system life cycle development, as well as computer system management and performance. He has customers in both Government and the private sector in Asia and throughout the United States, including the U.S. Army, Freddie Mac, and MCI.

Professor Miller earned his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Stanford University, his M.S. in Computer Science from George Mason University, and his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Nebraska.
