John Bono, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology.

Dr. Bono teaches database technology and programming courses in IST. He has extensive teaching experience in both face-to-face and online formats. Additionally, he has substantial industry experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle for Web development utilizing techniques for project management and client management.

Dr. Bono earned a Ph.D. in Information Systems at Nova Southeastern University, a M.S. in Electronic Commerce at University of Maryland University College, and a B.S. in Computer Science at The Catholic University of America.

His research interests include: e-commerce, Web usability, Web application development, human-computer interaction, and engineering education.
