Feng Pan is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology.

Professor Pan is currently working as a Senior Project Manager and System Architect at the United States Supreme Court, Washington DC.  His current projects include the nationwide case filing system for Supreme Court. He is a PMI certified project manager and has been active in promoting project management in Information Technology industry for the past decade.

Professor Pan’s research interests include project management in today’s fast paced Information Technology projects focusing on how to practice Agile methodology in DevOps.  His current research involves implementing Scrum in general software development, practicing Scrum in mobile application development, how to leverage Microsoft DevOp Tools to facilitate Agile development process etc.

Professor Pan has twenty years of rich and diversified experience in IT industry. Before joining United States Supreme Court, he worked as a Senior Application Development Manager in Microsoft. He also was a business owner of a local IT consulting firm for many years in the past.

Professor Pan obtained a Master’s degree in Management of Science in Project Management from George Washington University, Washington DC in May 2000. He also boasts a Master’s degree in History from Nankai University, Tianjin, China. Besides PMI certification, Professor Pan also holds various certifications from Microsoft.
