Vivian Motti, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology.

Her main research interests include Human Centered Computing, Wearable Health and Usable Privacy. In her research, Dr. Motti focuses on understanding human users, their needs, preferences, interests and requirements. She also investigates how technology can help users in their daily lives, supporting and improving everyday activities.

Dr. Motti earned her Ph.D. in Human Computer Interaction at Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, M.S. in Human Computer Interaction at University of São Paulo in Brazil, and a B.S. in Biomedical Informatics at University of São Paulo.
