What are the requirements/process for admission into a graduate program?
Admission requirements for our graduate programs are described in the University Catalog. Links to the Catalog are listed above for each program offered.
Application and admissions to IST graduate programs is handled by the Volgenau School of Engineering’s Graduate Admissions Office. Information about admissions is located on the Graduate Admissions Web site.
What are the requirements to complete a program?
On successful completion of a program’s requirements, you will be awarded the degree or certificate of your program. You must be sure to apply for graduate by the start of your final semester through PatriotWeb. More graduation specific information is available from the Registrar’s Graduation Web site and in the Graduation section of the University Catalog.
For M.S. programs, students typically take two courses per semester, leading to a completion time in five semesters.
What post-graduate opportunities are available?
A number of opportunities are available:
- If you have completed a M.S. program, you may be interested in the school’s Ph.D. program
