Alex Jalinous has extensive online teaching experience in asynchronous and synchronous online format with a focus on Information Technology classes. He has been an adjunct professor at George Mason University since 2006 and has taught at different institutions such as University of California in Riverside, and several technical schools with a focus on Microsoft and Cisco certification courses.
After working as an IT engineer and system administrator for more than 10 years from 1991 to 2001 Mr. Jalinous decided to teach IT classes and continue with his IT consulting work. In 2001 he started to teach vendor specific certification classes such as Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft SQL Data Base Administrator, Novell Netware, Linux and network design. He continues his work as an industry consultant with a focus on designing more efficient, cost effective network solutions for his clients.
Mr. Jalinous has a BA degree in Computer Science and a MS degree in Telecommunications from University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado along with different industry certifications such as CCAI, CCNA, CCNA VoIP, CCNA Security, Linux +, MCSE, MCT and MCDBA.
