Tawfiq Khan has over 20 years of industry experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and monitoring LAN/WAN infrastructures in a multi protocol environment. He has extensive experience working with Cisco and Juniper routers, and Cisco switches. Mr. Khan has experience in the design and implementation of network security using firewalls, and VPNs, as well as in customer migrations to new service provider facilities. During the past 20 years, he worked as a network engineer, network architect, consultant and senior network engineer in Sprint, AboveNet, Computer Sciences Corporation, Deutsche Telecom, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Defense. He is also an adjunct faculty at George Mason University teaching graduate level networking course that concentrates solely on BGP routing protocol. Mr. Khan is a Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert- R&S track (CCIE# 18630) and a Juniper Certified Internetworking Specialist (JNCIS).
He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.S. in Telecommunication at George Mason University.
