Add Deadline and Prerequisites Reminder

We hope that your first week in the fall 2017 semester has been great!

This is just a reminder that the last day to add full-term courses is 05 September 2017. This and all deadline information can be found at http://registrar.gmu.edu/calendars/fall-2017/.

Pre and co requisites are tied to the semester a course is taught, not a student’s individual catalog year. Current Pre and Co requisites can be found in the University catalog (catalog.gmu.edu), in Patriotweb’s Schedule of Classes (patriotweb.gmu.edu), and at ist.gmu.edu/go/prereq.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT IT 492:
In order to take IT 492, students must first complete [(IT 206 or CS 211) and IT 207 and (IT 213 or IT 193) and (IT 214 or IT 194) and IT 223 and IT 300 and IT 341 and IT 343 and (MBUS 300 or MSOM 300)] with a C or better and also be at senior standing. Senior standing is at least 90 credits GRADED. Although you may be considered a senior by the start of spring 2018, if you have less than 90 credits graded, you are not yet eligible to register for IT 492. Once you have had at least 90 credits graded, you will be able to add yourself to a wait list and/or add yourself to a section.
