CRIM 304 No Longer Equivalent to IT 357
Originally, the IST Department announced to the BS INFT listerv (27 April 2020, 04 May 2020, 09 Nov 2020) that, starting fall 2020, CRIM 304 would no longer be considered equivalent to IT 357 and it would no longer satisfy a concentration course for the BS INFT.
Due to a catalog publication error, the following update has been made to this policy, and all BS IT majors have been notified via the listserv (11 Feb 2021):
- Starting fall 2021, CRIM 304 will no longer be considered equivalent to IT 357.
- CRIM 304 will no longer satisfy a concentration course for any concentration area.
- If a student completed CRIM 304 with a C or higher or XS prior to fall 2021, it will still satisfy an INFS/CYBR core or DTP/HIT/ITE/WDM/WDEV/NTEL/CCG elective; but if CRIM 304 is taken in fall 2021 or later, it will not.
- CRIM 304 is no longer be accepted as an IT Minor technical focus course.
