IMPORTANT FALL 2018 Prerequisite Announcement for IT 109
For students interested in taking IT 109 in fall 2018, please be aware that IT 102/MATH 125 are not corequisites. They are prerequisites, which means that you must complete IT 102 or MATH 125 PRIOR to taking IT 109.
IT 102 or MATH 125 remain corequisites for IT 106.
Can’t decide whether to take IT 106/206 or IT 109/209? To help you make a decision on which course sequence you should take, please review the below:
- IT 109/209 Python courses are best for those students interested in Information Security
- IT 106/206 Java courses are best for those students interested in Database Technology & Programming (the gateway courses for DTP are IT 214 or IT 206. IT 209 will not suffice)
