IST Resource Room Unveiling and Art Design Contest Kickoff (and free pizza, too!)
IST @ SciTech is excited to unveil our new student resource room- the IST HUB!  You asked, and we answered.  Now, IST students have a one-stop-shop in the IST office at SciTech to gather informational materials about our programs, learn more about other Mason resources (Career Services, Off-Campus Housing, etc.), register for courses, and just kick back and relax (really- there’s a couch and comfy chairs)!

The unveiling will be on Tuesday, October 6th.  The room will be open and ready to go at 4:00 p.m. and there will be free pizza!  So, be sure to stop by Bull Run Hall Room 102 to see your new space!

As part of this unveiling, we will also be having a kickoff for the IST Art Design Contest.  We’re keeping the details a secret for now, so you’ll need to stop by on Tuesday to get the full info.  If you can’t make it here on Tuesday, no worries!  We will email the contest details to all students following the event.

 Final Drop Deadline
The Final Drop Deadline (67% tuition penalty) is TOMORROW. That is your last opportunity to drop a course and have it removed from your transcript.

The Selective Withdrawal Period will run from October 5 through October 30.  Remember: Undergraduate Degree-Seeking students may request a maximum of three selective withdrawals during their entire undergraduate career.  Use them wisely!  We recommend you meet with an advisor before pursuing this route.

**Important note: drop deadlines differ for courses that start during the second half of the semester. Always verify dates on the Registrar’s website.

Spring 2016 Class Schedule Now Available
The Spring 2016 Class Schedule is now available for viewing in PatriotWeb.  You should use the time between now and registration to develop a course plan and meet with an advisor to make sure you are on track.  Spring 2016 registration will begin in early November.  Advising appointments will fill quickly.  You can make an appointment up to 30 days in advance.  You are strongly encouraged to book your appointment now to ensure you get a spot on a day/time that works for you!

Enrollment Central Now Open at the SciTech Campus
Need help with Financial Aid? Have questions about transfer credits to Mason? Want to take a selective withdrawal?  Visit Enrollment Central!

Who we are- Mason Enrollment Central (Mason EC) will provide comprehensive, coordinated, and efficient delivery of enrollment (and related financial) services to prospective and matriculating students. As the primary point of contact for student enrollment concerns, the department will act as a conduit between various enrollment service offices and students, families and other constituents by eliminating the need for several visits to different offices.

What we do-Mason Enrollment Central offers expanded services on the Science and Technology Campus, helping to establish a presence for students who have questions or need help with Financial Aid, their Student Account, Registration, Transfer Admissions, or Academic Advising.  Our goal is to reduce the number of trips to the Fairfax Campus that student will be required to take, as well as to help extend coverage of these enrollment services to a wider range of students.

Contact: Our desk is located within the Ground Floor Lobby of Bull Run Hall. We are open from Monday through Friday between 10am and 6pm.
