Launch of George Mason’s Virtual Academy

We are pleased to announce the launch of George Mason University’s Virtual Academy.

The Virtual Academy (VirtAc) is the premier online preparatory academy at George Mason University (GMU) featuring the highest of standards and quality which are the hallmarks of GMU. VirtAc offers online professional development non-credit courses and programs along with popular certifications. Our offerings allow you to advance your career and enhance your value in the workplace. VirtAc staff are qualified and certified in the areas in which they train students. As a VirtAc graduate you will have the opportunity to work with the best of the best in the IT field, with industry-recognized certifications from Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft, Oracle and others.

Virtual Academy’s first preparatory course for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) starts March 24, 2014.

We offer a 10% discount to GMU students and alumni, and a 15% discount for early bird registration or corporate enrollments of three or more participants.

In addition, students preparing for the CCNA certification exam will receive a 60% discount voucher to apply toward the CCNA certification exam fee upon completion of the CCNA preparatory course with a 75% or better score. The discount voucher can be applied at our Pearson VUE testing center or at any other authorized Pearson VUE testing centers.
