Veronica Bonilla, Academic Advisor for Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Veronica Bonilla comes from an International Advising background having worked at OIPS at George Mason University and Marymount University. She joined the IST Academic Advising team in May 2023. Veronica is also a George Mason alumni who enjoys getting involved with the Mason Community. During her free time, she enjoys going for a walk with her partner and Boston Terrier dog, yoga, dancing, crocheting, reading, and watching TV.

Ashley Korman, Academic Advisor for Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Ashley Korman joined the IST Department in April of 2023. Prior to joining George Mason, she was a middle school counselor in Prince William County Public Schools for 7 years. Korman earned her MEd in Counseling with a concentration in school counseling from Penn State University in 2016, and her BA in Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2014.

Laura Rhodes, Academic Advisor for Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Laura Rhodes joined the IST Department in March 2020. Prior to joining the Mason community, Rhodes worked in various roles in higher education, including counseling and psychological services, academic success and advising, and disability services. Rhodes earned her MSW in clinical social work from Rutgers University in May 2016 and her BS in Psychology with a Minor in Photography in 2014 from Susquehanna University.

Lisa Sevilla, Academic Advisor for Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Lisa Sevilla has been working at Mason since 2005, throughout various departments, both administratively and academically. Sevilla earned her MEd in Curriculum and Instruction- Secondary Education for English, from Mason, in December 2015, and her BA in English-Folklore, Mythology, and Literature, with a minor in African American Studies, additional foci in Religion, Anthropology, and Native American and Indigenous Studies, from Mason, in 2009.

John Turner, Academic Advisor for Undergraduate and Graduate Students
John Turner has been working at Mason since 2021, serving the Office of the University Registrar and the Office of Admissions. He joined the IST Department in April of 2023. Turner earned a BA in Integrative Studies with a concentration in leadership and organizational development from GMU in 2020. He is earning an MEd in Counseling with a concentration in clinical mental health from George Mason.
