David Richard is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology

Prof. Richard teaches project management and senior design capstone courses. He brings to the classroom over 25 years of technology experience, covering a wide range of domains, including: infrastructure and software portfolio management, operations support, continuous value capture through technological evolution, and project and change management. Specifically, Prof. Richard specializes in the people and processes that surround technology. His unique ability to speak to all levels of the organization helps facilitate the communications process and creates efficiencies when managing change. In addition, Prof. Richard is an industry and cultural analyst, performing ongoing research into the technology-driven shifts taking place in organizations, economies and social structures. This work contributes to understanding the impact technology has on the human elements that make up any organization and social structure.

He holds a B.S. in Imaging Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and M.S. degree in Technology Management from George Mason University. Additionally, Prof. Richard is currently pursuing a MA. in Cultural, Technology and Software Studies from George Mason University.
