Ramaswamy Chandramouli
Dr. Ramaswamy Chandramouli is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology.
Dr. Chandramouli has over 25 years of professional experience in Information Systems design, development, and implementation, as well as computer security research. Over the past 13 years his work has focused on computer security areas including role-based access control models, model-based test development, policy specification and validation, privacy protection, conformance testing of smart card interfaces, healthcare IT security, development of security profiles, identity management, and virtualization/cloud computing security. His most recent work has been as Supervisory Computer Scientist and Director of NIST Personal Identity Verification Program for the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Dr. Chandramouli’s primary research interest is identity management. He received his Ph.D.in Information Technology from George Mason University, his M.S. in Management and Adminstrative Sciences from the University of Texas, his M.S. in Industrial Engineering and O.R from I.I.T Bombay, India, and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras, India.
