Stephen Bucci
Dr. Stephen P. Bucci is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology.
Dr. Bucci is the Director of the Douglas and Sarah Allison Center for Foreign Policy Studies and the Senior Fellow at the Heritage Foundation for all issues involving Homeland Security and Defense. He was the Military Assistant to the Secretary of Defense, Donald H. Rumsfeld and served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Homeland Defense and Defense Support to Civil Authorities. After leaving government, Dr. Bucci served as one of IBM’s lead consultants for Cyber Security Policy in IBM’s Public Sector Team.
Dr. Bucci’s research interests are Cyber Security Policy, Defense and Homeland Security Issues, and Terrorism. He received his Ph.D. and M.A. in International Studies at the University of South Carolina.
